Description

Neurobalin 75 mg contains pregabalin, a medicine used to treat neuropathic pain caused by conditions such as diabetes, shingles, or spinal cord injury. It is also prescribed as an add-on therapy for epilepsy to help control partial seizures. Additionally, pregabalin may improve fibromyalgia symptoms, sleep quality, and daily functioning.

How It Works

Pregabalin works by calming overactive nerve signals through reducing the release of certain neurotransmitters. This mechanism lowers abnormal pain transmission and seizure activity within the nervous system. As nerve activity stabilises, improvements in sleep, mood, and overall quality of life may occur.

Dosage

The usual starting dose of Neurobalin is 75 mg once or twice daily. Depending on clinical response, the dose may be gradually increased to a total daily dose of 300–600 mg.

Dose adjustments are required in patients with renal impairment and should always be guided by a healthcare professional.
