Rivotril is indicated for the treatment of panic disorder with or without agoraphobia, characterized by sudden panic attacks and concerns about future occurrences. It is also used alone or in combination to treat Lennox-Gastaut syndrome and akinetic and myoclonic seizures and may be considered for patients with absence seizures unresponsive to other treatments.
